Aims/Agenda: Adoption of a common generic structure for the training materials

FENICE team once again manifested its creativity and expertise. The challenge of our course is to put 2 totally different study fields into 1 but our expertise and willingness provide us with suitable solutions. This solutions are to be researched and tested in terms of feasibility the selected e-learning platform but we are on the right way.


We found a flexible solution of the challenge to organize different study aspects, university approaches and experience into 1 common structure for training materials.

Aims/Agenda: Kicking –off the development of next project output

The FENICE team has successfully finalized a total number 4 course syllabuses “Management and Entrepreneurship in the Cultural and Creative Industries” for students and graduates of business and of arts and humanities and for adults learning in the same fields. But that was just part of the work. A set of conscious, focused on the learning outcomes training materials will be a subject of development within the consortium. Today, we started with a recall of the next project`s deliverable and discussion of a suitable common structure. Different universities, different practice, diverse themes and approaches. We shall approach the development in a way to adopt the most flexible template for training materials.

Fifth partner meeting

Name/type of the event:  5th partners meeting 

Aims/Agenda: Adoption of the pre-final output development, co-work

The FENICE partners met on April 28th to confirm that the syllabuses “Management and Entrepreneurship in the Cultural and Creative Industries” for students and graduates of business and of arts and humanities are ready.

The research team is proceeding with the translation of the syllabuses and the pro-active development of adult learning syllabuses.

Fourth Partner meeting

Aims/Agenda: Discussion on the advance of the Output development, co-work

The work on the elaboration of the FENICE syllabuses has advanced a lot following an active exchange of drafts and ideas via e-mailing. On March, 29th, the FENICE team met to discuss the application of the experiential learning approach in teaching the course in real terms.

Our courses for Business and Economics students and for Arts and Humanities studentrs are approacing finalization. Next in the project agenda – adult learning syllabuses.

Aims/Agenda: decision of the structure and topics course syllabuses “Management and Entrepreneurship in the Cultural and Creative Industries”

Is entrepreneurship theory important for the successful operation of a creative business or not? How deep a business student needs to be immersed into the arts and humanities studies so to be able to plan and manage a creative business? These are just part of the questions discussed during the 3rd partner meeting of the FENICE team. It was not an easy decision, but the FENICE team selected 10 topics which shall cover the most essential issues of business planning in terms of culture and creative industries so to provide target trainees with the knowledge needed for effectively leading this type of specific business to viability.
