Aims/Agenda: To pilot test the developed course syllabus and training materials with a group of 15 students

After months of fruitful cooperation and joint work FENICE partners have developed 4 interdisciplinary courses for training in management and entrepreneurship in the CCIs.

Now, at the very end of the project, we are pilot testing them. Within our 5 days Intensive study programme we have gathered together 15 young people from 5 partner countries and immersed them into the specifics of business in the CCIs. This training experience was very exciting for the participants. They enjoyed the Programme and share they have learned a lot of new things.

The event was held in Varna, Bulgaria in the period 24 – 28 April, 2023.


At the end of the project it is time to pilot test our Outputs.

Aims/Agenda: Presenting the FENICE outputs and fostering intersectoral partnerships

On 30 of March in Bucharest, the 4th Creative Partnerships Conference was held. The event gathered more than 30 persons – students, policy makers and CCI entrepreneurs which were informed about the project outputs but also intensively involved in discussion of the need and potential of partnerships and networking.

On 29 and 30 of March we have carried out our Creative partnerships Conference in Varna, Bulgaria. In the framework of this event we presented our work to more than 60 participants. We also devoted time to present some good examples of management and entrepreneurship in the CCIs, in discussing potential intersectoral partnerships and networking. Creative partnerships Conference – Portugal

Aims/Agenda: Presenting the FENICE outputs and fostering intersectoral partnerships

The Creative partnerships Conference in Portugal was held on 8th of march in Porto. A wide interest was expressed and the event was visited by more than 70 people. That audience was a good platform for disseminating the project Outputs but also for discussing the potential of the CCis and the possibilities for partnerships amongst the operators, and with academia and policy-makers.

Creative partnerships Conference was held on 20 February 2023 in Athens. Greece is definitely a country with rich history and culture but also with a good practice into establishing interdisciplinary partnerships. We are happy that part of these were presented during our FENICE event.

Aims/Agenda: Presenting the FENICE outputs and fostering intersectoral partnerships

We are kicking-off our cycle of Multiplier events with a Conference in Serbia. The event was held on 12 December 2023 when Novi Sad was still European Capital of Culture. It was an honor to present our Outputs for the very first time during this event. However, the practices of partnership established during this special year for Novi sad and presented during the conference have inspired our team of researchers regarding improvements of our draft of HEI-business model. Potential of CCI partnerships in Serbia

Eleventh partner meeting

Name/type of the event:  11th partners meeting 

Aims/Agenda: Review of project status in all aspects. Finalization of Training materials and platform and Brainstorming on the HEI – partnership model

After months of fruitful cooperation and joint work FENICE partners representatives met in person for the very first time. This first meeting with transnational mobility was held in Porto, Portugal on 29th of June.

All 9 experts actively participated in the held presentations and discussions considering the project implementation in all aspects – development of outputs, financial implementation, evaluation and dissemination. Finally, they joined their diverse knowledge to brainstorm over the structure of a model for HEI-business partnership in support of entrepreneurship in CCIs.


Exactly 20 months after the project start we met for the very first time during our 11th partner meeting, this time held in person in wonderful Porto.

Seventh partner meeting

Name/type of the event:  7th partners meeting 

Aims/Agenda: Adoption of a common generic structure for the training materials

FENICE team once again manifested its creativity and expertise. The challenge of our course is to put 2 totally different study fields into 1 but our expertise and willingness provide us with suitable solutions. This solutions are to be researched and tested in terms of feasibility the selected e-learning platform but we are on the right way.


We found a flexible solution of the challenge to organize different study aspects, university approaches and experience into 1 common structure for training materials.

Sixth partner meeting

Aims/Agenda: Kicking –off the development of next project output

The FENICE team has successfully finalized a total number 4 course syllabuses “Management and Entrepreneurship in the Cultural and Creative Industries” for students and graduates of business and of arts and humanities and for adults learning in the same fields. But that was just part of the work. A set of conscious, focused on the learning outcomes training materials will be a subject of development within the consortium. Today, we started with a recall of the next project`s deliverable and discussion of a suitable common structure. Different universities, different practice, diverse themes and approaches. We shall approach the development in a way to adopt the most flexible template for training materials.

Fifth partner meeting

Name/type of the event:  5th partners meeting 

Aims/Agenda: Adoption of the pre-final output development, co-work

The FENICE partners met on April 28th to confirm that the syllabuses “Management and Entrepreneurship in the Cultural and Creative Industries” for students and graduates of business and of arts and humanities are ready.

The research team is proceeding with the translation of the syllabuses and the pro-active development of adult learning syllabuses.
